Viper Days Inc. was founded in 1996 to offer Viper
drivers a safe and fun venue in which to learn the limits of their cars.
To expand their knowledge of high speed driving techniques, the
driving school offers Viper specific classroom sessions as well as in
car instruction for all students.

This is not racing, it is a school and safety is
the most important objective of the school. In order to
minimize passing, we utilize a state-of-the-art timing system to grid
students by time. Our instructors are familiar with Vipers and their
unbelievable torque so they know how to teach the proper techniques for
staying on the track and driving safely. All you have to do is listen
and learn the techniques we offer to you throughout the weekend.
You will have plenty of on-track time to practice them over and over
again!

Viper Days is the "Official" driving school of the
Viper Club of America and is the only nationally recognized driving
school & Challenge Series for Dodge Vipers. Drivers may compete in one
of seven classes utilizing a timed format, earning them points towards
the National Finals to be held in the fall of the year. Trophies are
awarded to the first three drivers in each class. The Challenge Series
is a cumulative point series with trophies awarded for regional class
placement and your performance at the Finals.
All participants are invited to attend the Finals
that are held in the fall of each year to determine the national
champions for each class. Trophies are provided by Dodge Marketing for
the Finals and are spectacular!
In addition to the Viper Days Driving School and
Michelin Challenge Series, attendees have a chance to get answers to
their performance questions, see the latest new products and shop for
that special item among the vendors. Dodge, Michelin North America,
Hoosier Tire Company, Whelen Engineering, Viper Club of America,
Archer Racing Accessories, Bobby Archer Motorsports, Autoform
Development, Borla, Corsa, Forgeline Wheels, Moton Shocks, RaceTech,
StopTech Brakes and K& N have provided sponsorship for Viper Days.
Sponsor representatives are available at most events to meet with the
participants and assist them in their inquires.

Not only is this
the most effective training technique, but also the least expensive
for the student. Most high performance driving schools charge their
students approximately $800-$ 1,000 per day and put their students in
cars that don't exhibit the handling characteristics or driving
techniques required of a Viper. Our students take the class in their
own Viper, pay less than $350 per day, plus they receive catered
meals, commemorative polo shirt and a registration packet. Viper Club
America members receive a $50 VCA discount on their first
event. Viper Days also provides an additional $100 discount for first
time Viper participants. Instruction is provided for beginning,
intermediate and advanced drivers through a combination of on-track
and classroom sessions. The classroom is Viper specific with guest
speakers and topics about maintenance, set- up, track analysis and
corner analysis. To maximize safety and provide a comfortable learning
environment, each student is placed in the rookie group until the
student needs to be advanced. Instructors communicate with the student
by way of a helmet communication system, no yelling or hand signals.
Lap times are carefully monitored for each student to assure they are
properly placed on track with drivers of equal skill.
Adjustments are made throughout the weekend to
maintain maximum spacing of cars on track. Restrictions on passing are
strictly enforced. Professional corner workers are present at all
crucial flag stations. Professional medical and rescue personnel are
always present. Med+ Stats is required for all participants to ensure
maximum protection. Class size is strictly limited to assure maximum
quality and quantity of track time.
